This listing is for a clamp kit which fits the low profile cross bars for the VW Transporter T5 & T6 van.

These clamps are specially shaped to fit the genuine VW low profile cross bars which are manufactured by Omtec (specifically we used Omtec part number 1453 / VW part number ZGB7H0071151).

This listing is for a PAIR of these so you will get 2 sets of clamps / brackets - enough to mount a lightbar.

We noticed a general lack of roof accessory mounting options for cross bars - so we engineered our own solution!

We have put together several kit options - this kit includes a pair of our clamps PLUS a pair of stainless steel end plates finished in Black powder coat.

We have used this kit to mount a light bar to the roof of our Defender - see photos/video.

Although you can use the T-slots in the rails we wanted something more chunky and adaptable that spread the load on the underside of the cross rail.

All of the metal parts in this kit are stainless steel so they will resist corrosion.

We are proud to say that all of the main components in this kit are designed in-house by us and are manufactured locally in the UK.

The blocks are 3D printed in-house - 3D printing leaves layer lines, and a texture on the top surfaces. This is a characteristic of this method, but gives a satisfactory finish.
