for Land Rover Defender L663

This is an LED repair module for the headlight signature strip for the Defender L663.

This LED module illuminates the main signature strip halo around the headlight (the smaller signature strips on the side are lit by a separate module).

Before purchasing this item please check with your Land Rover dealer if the failure is covered under warranty - even if you car is out of warranty.

Note: The base model headlights do not have the signature strip function.

This can be used to repair a failed module.

You will need to strip your headlight down to access this module (you'll need to separate the front lens from the headlight body) - ( it may be possible to cut the rear of the housing in the correct place to access this ? )

This LED module can be used for a left hand or right hand headlight.

NOTE: This item is supplied with thermal grease - it is important that you apply the thermal grease between the LED module and the aluminium heat sink to aid heat dissipation.

We also sell replacement headlight lenses and bodies should you need them.

We have also heard reports of the signature strip light 'yellowing' which seems to be caused by degradation of the strip that this module shines into - we sell these replacement strips if required.
